Overall good food and fast service, really pleasant atmosphere and a good spot for sushi. The lunch specials are well priced and affordable.

The vibe is excellent, plenty of booth seating, family friendly, the food is par for the course but special attention is made for presentation. The chef and servers are cheerful and appreciative of customers. A very enjoyable experience. I would definitely come here regularly with my family.

I eat sushi like 1 to 3 times a week and I was quite impressed by everything that we ordered! It is not the best sushi I have ever had in my entire life but it is pretty darn good for a local sushi joint.My number one item was the sablefish. If you go to a high-end restaurant like a Nobu, the sable fish is like US$45. This one is like C$15… It does not taste as good as Nobu but still pretty good!The next best thing is the salmon oishi Sushi. I would certainly come back here again!

Love the japanese foods

Ordered food for my family and I at 630.. was told it would be ready at 740. When we placed our order they didn't sound too sure about our order so at 715 we called to confirm our order. Was told they didnt see our number so we repeated our order x3 and said so will it be ready at 740 still. Was told yes to come at 740. Get there and wait 10 minutes then get told they didnt have our order! And we said well we called you to confirm and you told us to come at 740. Seriously ridiculous.. if your too busy with orders when people call say sorry we're over flowed with ordered for tonight instead of having people wait over an hour for food that wont be coming

Fresh delicious sushi at reasonable price. Their unagi is awesome too! Clean and comfortable environment. Excellent service!

Surprisingly good sushi in a caucasian part of town (Ladner, Delta). This restaurant is either spun off from Mega Sushi in Steveston Richmond, or the chef formerly worked there, according to their description. The style is similar, with fancy special rolls, some fresh and some aburi sushi, Japanese curry, and other cooked dishes. The sushi lunch set was fresh and good value. The aburi pressed sushi was however too dense. With visiting if you're in the area and craving sushi.

I have dined at Sapporo Kitchen perhaps two dozen times as we live quite close by. Sapporo is the standard for Japanese food in this price range. The food is consistenly good with a varied menu. The service is fast and the waiters are polite. The location and ambience is excellence. I have never written a review for a restaurant before but I wanted to write this in support of a fantastic restaurant.

Order a family dinner on saturday night, was told it would be an hour and to come at 740pm to pick up. I felt uneasy about the first experience so I called back after 30 minutes to confirm my order. They seemed confused and "lost my order" no big deal good thing I called. I reconfirmed the meal and the server said to come at 740 still to pick up. Showed up and waiting for my order, I was told they dont have it on record. I said well I called 30 mins ago to confirm and was told it would be ok. Guess what no food and order and was turned away because it was now to late to order. Thanks for leaving us hungry and upset, never to order again.

Excellent as always. :) Fresh ingredients, good portion sizes, and the mango mojito had so much mango it was like a drink and dessert in one :)

Delicious sushi! I ordered a specialty roll and asked what rolls are really Spicey and they said they can make any roll extra Spicey, so I had them make the roll I ordered extra Spicey and it was delicious! If I'm in the area again I'd definitely come back!

Have been eating at Sushi restaurants in the Vancouver and surrounding areas for 30 plus years, and by far this Sushi restaurant is one of the best. Service is friendly, the food came very fast and the tastes and freshness in all the dishes are excellent. I highly recommend you visit this qualify eatery.

Best sushi in Delta or further! The service was top notch and the food was quick, so fresh and delicious :) Very friendly and felt like home cooking. Prices were great as well and atmosphere very nice! Will def come back and tell others :)

Great sushi and the staff were very attentive. They were also terrific for our kids, providing training chopsticks and at the end had some small toys.Super cold beer too!

For the most part, we love this place. The bento boxes are excellent value and high quality. My two suggestions are:1) Dynamite rolls do not need to be stuffed with imitation crab. It takes away from the two high quality tempura prawns that are inside the roll. Please stop. Please.2) Spicy salmon rolls are not an excuse to use your low quality/old fish cuts. You can still taste the fish, and it is gross. The salmon nigiri/sashimi fish is excellent. Use that and charge a bit more if you need to.

Went for my first visit and I was impressed. The service was good, the food was really good and of high quality. Even the prices were quite reasonable. I will definitely be a return customer!

Great food. Friendly service. Really good variety on the menu — from great appetizers, salads, soups (ramen and udon), sushi, and curries. No kids menu but it isn’t really necessary for Japanese food.

Very high quality tasty food served here. Nice ambience. Professional and friendly staff. Other diners around us were also remarking on how good the food was, including the presentation quality. Definitely a cut above your average sushi restaurant. Highly recommended. Very welcome addition to Ladner.

The food is a genuine 6/5. It is incredibly delicious food. The service is terrible at best. So first, we went from saying "We'll do takeout instead of eating in." Well, the past 6 out of 7 times that we've ordered takeout, when we go to pick it up, the staff will walk past us without even looking multiple times regardless of how busy it is in there. 4 out of 7 times, despite ordering extra chashu in the ramen, or extra egg, or _anything_ extra, it hasn't been included. They commonly forget sauces for takeout orders as well.Even when we can clearly see the order on the counter packaged and ready to go it'll still take a good 10-15 minutes for someone to "notice" you and then ask what you need (!?!).I think at this point, it's time to go from "We'll order takeout instead of going in" to "We'll go somewhere else", which is a _damn_ shame because the food is amazing, but it's just not worth the absolutely terrible service.

Great place, sushi tastes bit more up-scaled than other places. Making a reservation is the best option, they are usually busy.
